Design by Atelier Tortil
The armchair draws its inspiration from Brazilian modernism and coastal architecture, a recurring influence in Jean-Pierre Tortil’s work.
The armchair reflects a dialogue between architecture, landscape, and comfort. Its generous proportions and enveloping form echo the relaxed elegance of Brazilian interiors, where furniture is designed to be lived with, not merely observed. The structure feels grounded and architectural, while the curves soften the silhouette, creating a balance between strength and ease. -
A structure in solid wood and plywood wrapped with polyurethane foam, upholstered in fabric. Seat cushion in high-resilience foam, upholstered in fabric. Base structure in patinated brass, ends in glossy varnish finish solid mutenye wood.
